YOUTH WILDLIFE CONSERVATION EXPERIENCE  (YWCE)

FREE EVENT FOR YOUTH AND THEIR ADULT SPONSORS

FEB 13, 2021   9 - Noon:  Founders Club at Arrowhead Stadium

CHECK IN TIME:     8:30 am

The Youth Wildlife and Conservation Experience (YWCE) is a FREE annual event for youth and their adult sponsors. It coincides with the Annual Hunter's Expo sponsored by the Kansas City Chapter of Safari Club International.

YWCE features many exciting conservation and outdoor activities for young boys and girls. Lunch is included for youth and for their adult sponsors.

This year the event can host up to 75 youth, ages 8-16, and 50 adult sponsors. Youth in attendance need to have an adult attend with them.  In fact, the adult sponsors enjoy this as much as the kids. This is a popular event so advance registration is required.

The Y.W.C.E. was first envisioned when Larry and Brenda Potterfield of Midway U.S.A. offered KC-SCI a very generous endowment.

The Foundation Board of Directors is looking at raising additional funds in order to expand to other events. SCI has recently partnered with Boys & Girls Club of America and exploring opportunities with the Scouts on the local level. Register Here

Funded by the "Larry Potterfield Family Foundation."
